[DECEMBER 01, 2020] ALPHALINK TEAM WINS AUSTRIAN HACKATHON
The Space4Mobility Hackathon 2020 presented a total of challenges in the mobility sector hosted by Austrian authorities. In the Austro Control challenge, the task was to effectively address jamming and spoofing for a safe ATM. After an intense week of work, the AlphaLink solution included a traffic-light based risk assessment to inform the flight control crew on the ground when irregularities are detected. As winner in this challenge, AlphaLink will engage into deepened conversations with Austro Control regarding the implementation of the solution and was invited to a breakfast with the Austrian Minister of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, Leonore Gewessler.
For the extended "Team AlphaLink", we teamed up with Technische Universität Berlin, Vereinigung Cockpit, 3D Technologies GmbH, and cloudeo. A big thank you to all parties involved!
